Book your fall dates. THE SPACE
This is a renovated single-level cottage sitting inside the Rocks District AVA, one of the most celebrated American Viticultural Areas in the Pacific Northwest. Basalt-rich soil, ancient vineyards, and working orchards frame the property on all sides. You are not near wine country. You are in it.
Inside, the house is what you would get if your most stylish relative renovated her grandmother’s cottage and refused to cut corners. Warm hardwood floors, curated art, a sectional built for long afternoons, and a fireplace that makes January feel like a decision you made on purpose.
LIVING ROOM
A large sectional, indoor fireplace, vinyl record player, board games, and a 65″ TV. This room was designed for the kind of afternoon that starts at two and ends at midnight.
KITCHEN AND DINING
This is a real kitchen, not a vacation kitchen. Full-size refrigerator, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, marble island, coffee bar with provided coffee beans, blender, baking sheets, barbecue utensils, wine glasses, and every tool you need to cook a proper dinner between winery stops. The dining table sits the whole group under a statement chandelier overlooking the yard.
THE BEDROOMS
Four private bedrooms, 1 KING bed and 3 QUEEN beds, each dressed in high-end linens, luxury mattresses, blackout blinds, extra pillows and blankets, clothing storage, and hangers. Everyone sleeps. Nobody shares a bed they did not plan to share.
THE BATHROOMS
Two full bathrooms. Bathtub in the first. Walk-in shower in the second. Both stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, and cleaning products. You are not scrounging for a hand towel.
THE SUN PORCH
An enclosed porch with a daybed and rocking chair. This is where you start every morning with coffee in hand, birds in the orchard, and zero agenda.
THE BACKYARD
This is the heart of the property.
🔸A fire pit patio with seating.
🔸A hammock strung under a mature shade tree with vineyard rows visible behind the fence.
🔸A BBQ grill with full utensils and charcoal.
🔸An outdoor dining area.
🔸Lawn games including cornhole.
🔸The kind of backyard that turns a group of eight into a family by night two.
🔸The cocktail setup is not decorative. The copper bar kit, shaker, and wine rack are there to be used.
THE LOCATION
🔸Our highway location puts you inside the Rocks District AVA in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. The Rocks District is one of America’s most distinctive wine appellations, known for ancient basalt soils that produce bold, mineral-driven Syrahs and Cabernets unlike anything else in the country.
🔸You are 10 to 15 minutes from the heart of Walla Walla and surrounded by some of the valley’s most celebrated Southside wineries.

If you are looking for a wine country home base that does not feel like a rental, this is it.
Four bedrooms. Orchard views. Fire pit. Vineyard AVA address. Click Reserve and we will take care of the rest.
You have access to the entire property. In the back there is a shed where we store some personal items. As you can see, there is a porch with some chairs there. You are more than welcome to use them.
The best way to communicate with us is through the app. If you need a faster answer you can always reach out to us directly by text or phone.
The cottage is positioned on an old highway, one of the main routes through the Rocks District AVA, so you will notice some road traffic from the front of the property. The backyard tells a different story. Vineyards stretch along two sides of the property and orchards frame the rest, with just one neighboring home nearby. Once you are out back with a fire going and a glass poured, the highway feels like another world.
